I’ve worked as Head of Welfare (Wellbeing) for an international arts college in the centre of Cambridge. It is a job I loved as I got the opportunity to interact and support students in fulfilling their dreams in becoming independent, qualified, and successful artists. My link with the Creative Arts has always been extremely strong. I trained as a professional actor at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts 1981-84 and spent sixteen successful years as a professional actor, writer, and director.

When I moved up to Cambridge in 2000, I joined my wife Amanda, as one of the Artistic Directors of Public Arena Children’s Theatre Workshop. As well as running drama classes for young people, I devised and facilitated many creative workshops for different groups in the community.

I have been interacting with spirit since I was young, and it was because of these experiences I went down the route of wanting to heal myself and others. Since the 1990s, I have trained in several holistic healing therapies such as massage, reflexology, colour therapy, pranic healing, spiritual healing, becoming a Reiki Master and the Sacred Trust’s three-year, Shamanic practitioner course.

I work as a Shamanic Practitioner Healer, trained as a Druid with OBOD and am a member of the Corr Reisc Cambridge Druid Grove. I have created a link with Abington Barn where I regularly run monthly Journey and Drumming Circles. Teaching is a real honour and privilege and I have created new courses for people who wish to explore themselves spiritually but not necessarily follow the shaman’s path. I am a trained counsellor and run a psychospiritual counselling practice alongside my other work.

Please note that I am proud to have IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine) underwriting my courses. I am fully insured and have over twenty years of teaching experience.

I am happily married, have three lovely children and a cat.

Music:
Writing and playing music has always played a big part in my life, I have played in bands, as a solo artist and am currently recording a second album with Cambridge Producer Dan Wilde.

Theatre:
I have also written many plays, some seeing the professional light of day with many more performed in community settings. When I moved up to Cambridge in 2000, I joined my wife Amanda, as one of the Artistic Directors of Public Arena Children’s Theatre and taught drama at Cambridge Stagecoach Performing Arts and Classworks Youth Theatre. As well as running drama classes for young people, I have devised and facilitated many creative workshops for different groups in the community.
